On an earlier day, I had planned to photograph my car against the Teton Range at sunset at a pullout I had scouted out beforehand. But the sky had other plans as storm clouds rolled in that day. I did not get my golden hour shot until two days later, when I returned for sunrise. While the second photo turned out amazing, I liked the first attempt enough to want to show it as well. The gloomy gray of the clouds and mountains seemed to embrace the Chalk color of the Porsche, casting the car into a dark, moody frame that actually made it feel more at home.
