The view over Lough Tay is one of the many sights along the Wicklow Way. The hike that day was an exhausting battle against strong winds and threatening storm clouds, but when I got there, I was greeted with a breathtaking view of a ray of light peeking through grey clouds and shining perfectly on the center of the lake. The unique sight made me glad to have attempted the trip, for a while at least. As the saying goes, you must be willing to do what others aren't in order to experience what others can't.
